Pass is Designed For Foreign professionals, managerial personnel (managing director, general manager, CEO), executives or specialists who wish to work in Singapore. Foreign entrepreneurs who are ready to start a new business in Singapore.
Eligibility

Foreigners must possess recognized qualifications, specialized skills and earn a minimum monthly salary as set by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) from time to time (for more details, please refer to MOM website).

Other criteria include:

  1. Applicant
    • Work experience
    • Job profile/position
    • Quality of applicant to complement Singapore workforce
  2. Company
    • Paid-up capital
    • Operating history
    • Employer’s track record
    • Number of local employees
  3. Government
    • Economic contribution by industry
    • Skill currently in demand
    • Complement and supplement workforce

Business plan indicating the proposed business ideas, applicant relevant background, investment sum and total business spending (for more details, please refer to MOM website).

  • Company must be registered as a Private Limited Company with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) no more than 6 months before the submission of the EntrePass application
  • Own 30%-100% of shareholding in the company
  • Provide S$50,000 paid-up capital for the new company
Minimum Paid-up Capital S$1.00 S$50,000
Application Processing Time 1 day – 8 weeks 3 weeks – 3 months
Pass Renewal Renewable as long as you are employed by the company Renewal is dependent upon achieving the goals and objectives outlined in the business plan
When can the pass be applied At any time after incorporation of the company Either before company incorporation or within six months from the incorporation date
Pass Type and Eligibility
  1. There are 3 types of passes, namely P1, P2 and Q1.
  2. Eligibility criteria include:
    • Recognised qualifications
    • Specialised skills
    • Relevant work experience

Visas Validity 1 – 2 years
Dependent Pass Granted to immediate family members
