Dependant Pass
Spouses and children of current Work Pass visa holders in Singapore are eligible to apply for Dependant Pass.
Eligibility
- Work Pass visa holders must obtain an Employment Pass, EntrePass or S Pass with a minimum fixed monthly salary of S$2,800.
- Dependant Pass is applicable for spouse and biological or legally adopted children who are unmarried and under 21 years of age
Documents required
- Dependant’s Pass Application Form
- Recently taken passport size photograph
- Personal particulars page of applicant’s passport/travel document
Additional documents may be required based on the applicant’s relationship with the Employment Pass/S Pass holder.

*Any documents that are not in English must be translated into English by an official translation service.
Additional information
- You are allowed to work in Singapore as a Dependant Pass holder (not applicable to S Pass holder) provided that your potential employer is willing to apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC). However, you will need to renew your LOC whenever your Dependant Pass is renewed.
- Dependant Pass holders are eligible to study in Singapore.
Once approved, a Singapore Dependant Pass card (similar to an Employment Pass card) will be issued which states the personal particulars and validity period. It is advisable to apply for a Dependant Pass and Employment Pass at the same time to avoid delays.
